Dwayne Tuffin

Dwayne Tuffin was born and raised in Leamington. His love affair with cars began when he was 4. He says that growing up around the greatest Dad repairing cars and trucks was his beginning.

His dad owned and operated a trucking and bulldozing company, where maintaining and repairing vehicles was a daily routine. He also remembers the neighours bringing their cars over for dad to fix them and it was normal to help out any way they could.

When Dwayne attended high school auto shop it seemed like pre-school. It just came natural to him. Dwayne flew through the St. Clair Collage technicians course in two years instead of three and passed with a 3.8 grade. He passed his certification test with a 98% and received an inter provincial seal of approval with his license.

In 2000 Dwayne started his apprenticeship under the highly respected Brian Iles, a British car genius. Dwayne opened Dwayne’s Automotive Repair shop on July 1, 2001 at 51 Oak Street East and is still in business at this location.

Dwayne’s passion is the automotive business. Dwayne has received many awards, from ASE Automotive Service of Excellence, Tech net institute of training, Bob Greenwoods business course, OTC scan test qualification and many others.

Dwayne is active in the community by supporting local sports teams and local charitable organizations.

Dwayne married naive Leamington girl named Nicole in 2000. The couple have three children.
